Fandom opinion of uncertain popularity: I'm not sure Once Upon a Time has it in it to be more than a three-season show without getting horribly bloated. There are only so many stories and only so many ways to tell them without disregarding everyone else, and sooner or later they'll have to have whatever the final battle's going to be. I'd rather see the show go out on a high note than wonder why it's still going far past when it should have stopped.
(I'm caught up now, at least until Sunday. That was the second least surprising reveal they've done so far - Queen of Hearts takes the full Least Surprising title. But I do like that there weren't easy answers for anyone, and Charming trying to untangle poor Henry's family tree was hilarious.)

Red doesn't understand why Charles is stuck in a chair with wheels now; when she finally pries it out of him that he and Erik had a fight, she's got half a mind to tear the man's throat out. But Charles doesn't want that kind of leaping to his defense, so she resists the urge.

She's... not going to understand the chair. And she might even be tempted to see if magic could fix it for him (which for her is a lot).

Which he would be very conflicted about, because he's Charles and he doesn't want to mess too much with the future and yet, canon is mean.

Well, no one said his future is the same as any of the ones in the bar...
But it'd be unlikely that Red would find anything that could work, unless she managed to get a hold of one of the fairies. She'd rather not tangle with Regina or Rumpel if she doesn't have to.

True and if he really wanted to, I'm sure he could find someone in Milliways to fix him but I don't think he'd ask. The man has issues.

Imp can't see why Alfred's so twitchy about the fact that he wants to read all this paperwork before he signs anything. Really, he did learn something from getting tangled up with Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler; he's not jumping into anything unless he knows all the details. It's only fair.

Claudia doesn't like having dreams about Joshua - it's just a reminder of what she's lost - so she buries herself in a maze of TV Tropes links until she passes out from sheer exhaustion. Even then, it doesn't work anyway.

It's not until she's got him back in the real world that the dreams go away. She wonders what would have happened if she'd acknowledged them sooner, but it doesn't matter, in the end; he's back now, and that'll do.

After Sirius storms out, Mother sweeps into the drawing room and takes out the ire she didn't get to spend on him on the tapestry; she tries to make Regulus do it, but he sees his father shake his head just the tiniest fraction and refuses.

(It's the most magic he's ever seen his mother do in his life.)

They're going over printouts from the Lovelace when Phyllis sighs. "Do they really think it's that unusual for women to take an interest in the sciences?"

"Out there, they do," Rebecca says. "Unfortunately. And they'll likely keep doing so until they're strong-armed into acknowledging it."

I love all of these and would love to thread out the Imp-Moist one at some point. The Charles-Red one just gets me, augh, them.
