It is YULETIDE REC TIME, people! Starting from the back of the alphabet because that gets me to Warehouse 13 faster.
(As for things I wrote: Four out of four recips very happy with their stories. Which makes me especially happy because - that awkward moment when stories go live and you see someone treated your recip with something very close to what you wrote them. Not that I blame the other writer; if it hadn't been my assignment I would've tackled it too. XD)

Whistler's Coda (1466 words) by Anonymous

Fandom: Sneakers (1992)
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Erwin "Whistler" Emory, Liz (Sneakers), Carl Arbogast

My gift first, because I love it to absolute pieces. Whistler is brilliant, Carl's a dork, and Liz is the best ever.

Wake Up and Find (25653 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 5/5
Fandom: You Belong With Me - University of Rochester Yellowjackets (Music Video)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Glasses Guy/Jock Guy
Characters: Glasses Guy (You Belong With Me), Jock Guy (You Belong With Me)
Summary:

By the third time that Danny wound up with a window or door directly across from Eli Gronkowski's, he had to wonder if the universe was trying to tell him something.

I betaed this - part of it, at least (the author wasn't sure if the whole behemoth would be done on time, so I looked at the part that would have stood alone if it needed to). It's well worth the whole read and an excellent look at childhood friendship developing into something more.

The City's Call (3202 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Jack Secord/Rebecca St. Clair
Characters: Jack Secord, Rebecca St. Clair
Summary:

Jack and Rebecca are called into a case at Somersby Academy, a boys' boarding school just north of New York City, where they have to figure out what Artifact is making the boys act like addicts.

“I don’t want to miss anything, any connection, that’s what we’re doing. Reaching out and finding things and yeah, sometimes that means we go looking down in the City, but it’s the City. We’re allowed.”

Betaed this one too! It's a lovely look at Rebecca and Jack untangling a particularly complex case.

To End All Wars (4890 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Irene Frederic/Helena "H.G." Wells
Characters: Irene Frederic, Helena "H. G." Wells, William Wolcott
Summary:

Paris, 1920. H.G. Wells is unexpectedly awoken to assist in a Warehouse emergency: new Caretaker Irene Frederic is missing.

In which HG seems to be the only one who can see that things aren't going to go as smoothly as everyone's hoping, Mrs. F is already very good at getting to the heart of the matter, and the atmosphere (especially as described by a woman out of time) is gorgeous.

Where Bear? (2228 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13, Brave (2012)
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Myka Bering/Helena "H. G." Wells
Characters: Myka Bering, Helena "H. G." Wells, Pete Lattimer
Summary:

"Why are we freezing our asses off in Scotland? In the middle of winter?" Pete's voice was tinny on the Farnsworth. He was shivering, even with the shearling cap jammed on his head and the wool coat pulled tight around his neck.

"Because Claudia got a ping from an archaeological expedition working out here," said Myka. She shared a look with H.G. "And because we don't want anyone else running off into the Scottish highlands because demon bears are chasing them."

BEARS. (In all seriousness, this is a pitch-perfect crossover. Merida would absolutely generate an Artifact.)

A Toast Between Friends (1361 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Claudia Donovan & Steve Jinks
Characters: Claudia Donovan, Steve Jinks
Summary:

Now that the time has come, Claudia is afraid of being caretaker.

Betaed this one as well. Steve is there for Claud when she needs him, and it's lovely.

Artifact-Enhanced (12573 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 5/5
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Claudia Donovan & Steve Jinks, Steve Jinks/Original Character
Characters: Claudia Donovan, Steve Jinks, Original Male Character
Summary:

Dating really sucks when you can sense every lie. Steve has pretty much resigned himself to being alone except for the team--and the team is pretty great, so he can't complain about that. But when he and Claudia are sent to investigate people falling asleep for months, that all may change.

Not to detract from the wonderful case and the cleverness with Artifacts therein, but: AWWWWWWWWW JINKSY GETS A BOOOOOOOOYFRIEND.

I Will Do Science To It (3622 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13, Portal
Rating: Not Rated
Warning: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings

In which the ladies of the Warehouse do what they must, because they can.

Homeward (1137 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Steve Jinks, Claudia Donovan
Summary:

Steve and Claudia, on the way back from New Jersey.

My favorite might be Claudia accusing Steve of pulling an Edward Cullen.

Inventory Avoidance 101 (1269 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Warehouse 13
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Claudia Donovan, Steve Jinks
Summary:

Steve leaned over to see what Claudia had found, which put him too close to avoid noticing when her shoulders slumped a little. "Boring ping?" he asked.

"Nope." She allowed herself one long sigh, straightened, and hopped up. Steve started reading while she paged Artie, but was only halfway through when she came back. She jabbed a finger at the location details. "It's an anyone-but-me ping. Official government badges all the way."

Because of course hacking the Pentagon is more fun than actually doing inventory!

Painted Wings and Giant Rings (1060 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Point! (1971)
Rating: Not Rated
Warning: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings, No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Oblio, Arrow, Flint (OMC), Oblio's Father
Summary:

For Oblio, there is a Before, and an After, but the two aren't so different as he might have imagined.

Okay. This is one of the Fandoms Of My Heart, in all its crackonful glory, and because of said crack I can't quite believe someone dared write it. But I am so glad they did; this is sweet and quiet and wistful and perfect.

The Birth of an Empire (1093 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Incredibles (2004)
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Edna Mode, Original Characters
Summary:

Edna Mode makes her first super hero costume.

Edna is, to my mind, the best part of The Incredibles, and it's because of stuff like this. (I especially love how her taste in appropriate accessories has changed over time.)

Other Virtues (2627 words) by Anonymous
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Sneakers (1992)
Rating: General Audiences
Warning: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Erwin "Whistler" Emory, Martin Bishop, Donald Crease, Liz (Sneakers), Carl Arbogast, Darryl "Mother" Roskow
Summary:

Nobody expected a respectable businessman to drive a van blind.

All of which is to say, Whistler was not so very disappointed when everything went belly up again.

I laughed. I groaned when one of the jokes sank in. I drew hearts around this fic.

I've been going through fandoms in alphabetical order (I'm in the T's now!) so I haven't read any Warehouse fics yet beyond my own gifts but reading these summaries EEEEE SO EXCITED.

I absolutely second the rec for The City's Call. IT IS SO GREAT. (I spent the first half of the story wondering if you'd written it. Then I realized you hadn't and that was also exciting because YAY THERE ARE MORE JACK/REBECCA FANS!)
