Besides, if you've got a toothache, why on EARTH do you want me to poke it? (Suffice to say, I really don't understand the parents sometimes.)

Actually, it's quite simple to understand the nature of our family. About six generations back or so, someone got it in their head that landing ones self in an insane asylum was an interesting and amusing way to live, and we've been striving to get back to those roots ever since.

I'll see you at the party this weekend, most definitely. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to call your parents to see about a visit, but any time I get a few minutes to myself to make a phone call the hour is well into the night. I'll try to get a few free minutes in soon to give them a call. :)
