Also. There's gonna be a DCI tournament in FAIRFIELD! (That will perhaps not mean anything to people who are not katmaxwell - basically, it's marching bands. Just not all high-schoolers.) One of the groups was out practicing while we were doing the track wossname this afternoon. People thought it was the high school band at first, but (a) I've never seen that many silver instruments in a high-school brass line, and (b) why would the high school band be starting now?
On a somewhat related note, backward marching (or in fact walking) is actually good exercise for your hamstrings. XD
