It's GO and it's not GO and it's a little bit bizarre (due to that) and it's funny and it's sweet and it's definitely NOT the most broing fic in existence (which is how she hyped it) and, and, JUST.
Seems the anonymous-friend-commenting is going round once again, and since I've got more friends this time, I'll jump in on it.
(Note: I'm not doing communities, my other LJs, or Jen's writing LJ.)
1) We don't really talk a whole lot aside from a certain message board I could mention, but you're still cool. (Whatever happened to Oscar, anyway?)
2) Dude, you never use this thing. And I know you've got a blog, but still. I think this one's more fun (which is evident from the lack of blog updates since March). Me, I think food and sleep are quite useful, but then I think rain is wet so who am I to judge?
3) You are by far more well-traveled than I am (you've left the country for starters), and I don't know how you put up with your crazy siblings. Then again sometimes you don't. You popping in with a comment is often a day-brightener.
4) You've been gone for a while trying to sort... best to call them things out. ::sends more hugs, and best wishes::
5) We don't really know each other that well, but your posts are on the whole intelligent, so. All is well within the universe. (And I'm glad you enjoy that icon. XD Yours are also cool.)
6) ::pokes:: You've been gone lately (once again). Presumably real life has caught up with you; best wishes with that whole boyfriend thing, by the way.
7) Sorry, but you're a prolific writer. Nobody else cranks out stuff that fast (except maybe one of the Dariafic authors who's not on LJ to my knowledge). And you take all these wacky concepts that should in no way work and make them GOOD. We're never going to let you quit writing, you realize...
8) We don't really know each other that well yet. But I like the artwork you've put up thus far.
9) Your artwork, and your fic, and, and, just. (Not to mention coherent posts, those are wonderful as well.)
10) I've definitely known you the longest of anyone on here. Your oldest sister put you through a bunch of crap, from what I understand, but you still rock beyond measure.
11) You don't use this either, but that's somewhat understandable seeing as you just got it. I expect you to post at least a couple times seeing as your other diversion in this department is going.
12) All I really know about you is you're one of Morgan's RPG friends and you have pills that make you act crazy. And you have a job that requires lots of standing. (Also: 42!!)
13) I'm glad you finally learned how to use LJ-cut, to be honest. And some of your dream ramblings seem interesting, but I have a hard time reading them in IM format.
14) Yes! you really DID write something that brilliant back in November. And, er, perhaps-somewhat-belated congrats for surviving college. Now the question is, will you stay on the islands or go somewhere else?
15) Your GO fic = brilliant. And your willingness to go research the town so people have canon-correctness in that area (yourself and others, even!) is astounding.
16) I don't care if you're chronically shy, you're still invited to the hypothetical dinner party. Your'e responisble for so many things I've gotten into since December, and that's definitely in a good way. (And if I'd known why you kept me around on the friendslist, I'd've used THAT for your icon...)
17) Don't really know you that well outside of the RPG. But I really liked that last wossname you posted, about the writing and stuff? That was cool.
18) DUDE! You're the only person from school on here (narrows things down a bit, eh?), and even with that we don't talk much when we're, you know, there. That clearly needs to be remedied.
19) Artwork. GAH. It's beautiful. 'Nuff said.
20) We aren't that well acquainted yet, but I really liked the questions you gave me for that interview wossname. And while I don't see the appeal of baseball myself, I'm glad your team is doing well.
21) /me swears blind we'll get together one of these days. (Odds are I'll have to start driving/graduate/both first, but still.) And I'd still like to know where you got that sticker, as I think a friend might like one.
22) I still don't understand how you keep up with your RPG wossname, but I can definitely see where one would be interested in it. And you're a fun person all around.
23) I don't quite remember how we met, but that's because it was positively ages ago. You find some rather random things to post about, on the occasions when you do. An dI know I can be held responsible for, oh, five books you've read. ^_^
24) We don't know each other that well yet either, but (a) you're intelligent as is proven by your posts, and (b) icon! How could I not after that? Really.
25) Not just your GO fic but your Potterfic (what little I've read) is brilliant. And are you ever going to get that archive wossname set up?
26) You also wrote a brilliant story back in November, though I think I like your one completely-random scene toward the end better than the rest. And your FIC! (Actually, that's how I knew it was your novel; I lurked at those boards and noticed your pen name.)
27) We sort-of know each other outside of RPG land, at least enough that I recognized your user name when you friended me. I caught your answers to my questions before I left last week and I've got to agree on that last one - brilliant fanart just WAITING to be mis-seen (I guess...).
28) It's a shame you had to go friends-only, as the whole world needs this level of insanity. But whatever works, I guess. (Remember: the lesson is, don't send the fic to the mailing list. ^_^)
29) You are just SO COOL. You've got the best employee discount outside of a book store, you're a brilliant writer, and you're geeky in a very very cool way (as are most of these people, but still). And you go out and organize all these fannish wossnames in at least two fandoms so far.
30) You. Brilliant writer. Sacreligious, yes; blasphemous, probably. But I figure if you can't laugh at it you need not have it, and that's where you come in. Best of luck surviving that Evil School System what you have to put up with.
31) I'm still bloody amazed at how much we have in common, and that it took someone halfway around the world and an RPG to point out we're maybe an hour away from each other. But it's all good, even the bit where I don't know that you'll see this till next month maybe. We also ought to get together one of these millennia.
32) And as for you... Yes, customers often suck, particularly there, I'd imagine. But it's money and every little bit helps, right? You'll get out of that mess one of these days. We've been impacting each other so much since 2000 it's amazing. (Which is (a) why you're invited to the hypothetical dinner party, and (b) why you'd have to come up in my retreat speech.) I wish you all the luck you can get your hands on, a real computer, and a gallon of ice cream in the flavor of your choice.
...That took me nearly an hour. yay!
