One of [livejournal.com profile] maybethemoon's friends found a thing that tells you when you've been friended.
Also, Crowley has evidently been slacking. (You'll understand when you read it. XD)
And while I'm here... while there aren't nearly 200 people watching this, I'm curious as well. So I'm going to steal Moony's idea and request that y'all tell me why you friended me, and I will respond in turn. (I am a lemming. I am a lemming. ::drowns::)
Am prolly expected to go back downstairs and help Dad clean things (no mountain of dirt, as it is WET out). Grr, argh.
Observation: It's easier to catch [livejournal.com profile] afrai online than it is [livejournal.com profile] daegaer and the other British-area people, despite the fact that afrai's half a day ahead of me, time-zone wise. 'S weird - England and Ireland are only five hours ahead, but I'm hardly ever on at the same time as those people.

I added you because you're JILL, of course! You've known me since I was in the Daria fandom, and you still like me regardless. ^_~ We also push new fandoms and pairings off on each other, and this *is* my main way of communication.

You know, I actually can't remember? I mean, there were a couple of things right and I don't remember which it was first. Buggreallethis and the afrai thing, and also you were on my friendsfriends and kept getting mentions from said friends. And things. So, something like that. One of those things. Yeah!

Precisely!

Maybe we're double dragons, or whatever that weird twins-that-will-end-the-world-if-they-meet cartoon from the eighties was. Muahaha!

I knowwww! And Rocco!! Roundhouse! Salute Your Shorts (that was the name of that show, right?)!

...Even Space Cases and All That, on occasion, though that was a bit later.

And now...yeah. Spongebob, and Cousin Skeeter. ::shudders::

How could I have forgotten?? My siblings loved Hey, Dude but it just drove me nuts... ::thinks:: what else....

I can't remember, but yeah. Those were the days!

Oh! I did like Are You Afraid of the Dark. And Eureka's Castle!

Though some of the other Nick Jr. stuff was kind of odd. Like the dude alone in the clearing in the woods, with the occasional puppet and very rare human guest? Like Mr. Rogers except creepy? In my mind's eye I picture him as Red Green (ehehehe), though I can't really remember what he looked like at all. That show was not right.

We have Noggin, but I only seem to be around when their weird teenage dramas/educational shows are on. Which is a pity cause I'd really like to see some Daria too.

Damn. I miss Daria.

Guess I'll have to settle for crappy Kazaa downloads then.

There was definitely a freaky guy in the woods. But I spent a lot of time home "sick" around then (troubles adjusting to new school), so I watched Nick Jr. wayyy too much for my own good. :D

Hate to intrude upon your conversation. But I'd like to mention that I remember that show, too. And (though it may say something for me) he was too cool. He sang the "down by the banks" song. XD Which also brings up "One Elephant, Two Elephant" - or whatever that show was called - that had the two women and the guy from Canada who sang "Skiddamarink", "Little Bunnyy Foo-Foo" and other things. Um. Yeah. Not intruding on your conversation anymore. :)

(Good times, good times.)

See! I wasn't imagining things! Hee!

Still think he was creepy though.

But yeah, Sharon Lois and Bram! Something about elephants. They annoyed me, but that's just because I tried to pretend I was Too Cool for such things when really I was a dork. :D

Those were their names! Oh, I loved them. I'd watch for hours and get upset when the show was over. :D

And gee. I'm going to hide in a corner and not tell you that the flannel-guy was my favorite. -o.O-;;

Thank you. :) I was playing one day and wondered why I never had pink speedo boys screaming about fires in my kitchen...

I don't think he was. Though I really wish I knew where my Raffi tape was. Since I've had Down By the Bay stuck in my head for years now...

Hm. Wish to investigate more into this strange Red-Greenish character...

Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow, back to my home, I dare not go, for if I do, my mother will say...

Hee. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a dork potential. I think it should be an entry requirement to colleges (What is you dork potential? Don't know? Take this easy quiz to find out!). And such. Hee. Must find that tape...

Gah. I'm going to go see if I can download Raffi songs now. Or maybe if there's anything on Ebay.

Oh. And the highway thing? About how it will help attract tourism by taking away the negative connotation?

Well, who wants to take a picture next to a roadsign that says "491"?

Come on, we all know people are fascinated by evil ;).

Well, um, it was through afrai, and you had to try to explain what banana daiquiris symbolized... *clap of thunder, dramatic chord*

And then when I checked out your journal I found out you're so COOL! You're smart and funny and you have good taste! (*cough*goodomensdouglasadamslordoftheringsmontypythoncirquedusoleiletc*cough*). You're just generally awesome. ;D

You're welcome you're welcome you're welcome!

That reminds me, I really should renew my paid account with some of my graduation money...Hmmm...

The proof that Crowley was repsonsible for Manchester?

The main road from Manchester to Bolton is the A666. Named "St Peter's Way".

And, to answer your question, Buggreallethis, Foodless Diet & general similarity in outlook & tastes :)

Because I loooooove you. Um, right. Okay. Will stop being bizarrely stalker-ish and actually state the truth (ooh, burn!): I friended you because you're neat (what a silly word). You like what I like, and you interest me. And you have great links in your journal! (Hee hee.) And, if you want to know a dark dirty little secret, I also feel so totally in GO fandom wtih you on my friends list. ;)

On the friending - you like Good Omens! And Discworld! Plus you are both intelligent and literate, two attributes hard to find in lj-land, and I always like reading your posts. :)

On the highway thing - NOOOOO! If I'd known there was a US 666, I would have driven out to it and taken pictures. Lots of pictures. I would have even posed in a goofy manner next to the route signs for said photos, and I never rarely do things like that. This is a sad, sad day for all of us. *cries*

Nah, it makes sense, right? We're both awake at the times when we'd be online -- which didn't really make any sense, but um. I mean, when you're online at night, I'll be online in the morning, which works out. Yeah? Whereas the British-area people are probably, I dunno, eating jam or something while you're surfing.

And as to why I friended you . . . because! Bill and Ted! And the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy! And really cool Horsepersons fic! But, I confess, mostly Bill and Ted. Because there are HHG fen and GO fen out there, but I've found hardly any Bill and Ted fen. And also because you are scarycool.

Well, it was a joke, mostly. But if anybody wrote Bill/Ted for me, I wouldn't say no. *g* (This is not a hint, truly. I can see where you wouldn't support it, and stuff.)
