And now that Yuletide is live, I'll share the stuff wot I wrote! As things worked out, I wrote three eras of the same fandom.

Madness: A Little Grace (Warehouse 13) for random_chick, a brief look at HG's pregnancy.

Assignment: To the Clicking of Time (Warehouse 13) for Skitz_phenom, in which Claudia and Steve go to Oxford to solve a case.

Treat: Case Files, 1953-1962: A Selection (Warehouse 13) for Whisperslip, five cases Rebecca and Jack solved.

lionessvalenti correctly pegged one of these, which I think is the first time one of mine got guessed. Would you like a prize fic?

...and then it turns out lionessvalenti is the brilliant mind behind Moves Like Charlie's Angels, which also makes this the first time I know who my assigned writer is. :D Thank you!

I actually have a rather amusing story about Yuletide. When I was going through the letters, I came across yours and I was like "OH MAN. BASED ON WHAT THIS PERSON WANTS, I WANT THEM TO WRITE FOR ME." So there were much LULZ when I got you as my assignment.

Then when you friended me on here, I was like, "Oh, well, we'll have something to talk about in a week." Then I had to make a point to not talk about it. I had chatted about it on my LJ some, before I opened up my DW account.

Ooh, yes, prize fic! If you'd like to slap my name on something you're writing. I'm a total sucker for anything Claudia and Steve. :)

One of my favorite assignment confluences was a friend of mine writing for someone I know from college, a few years back. (The writer went to school in the same area, which made it even better. XD) It's always hilarity when stuff like that falls into place.
Maaaan, that must've been super awkward! I can assure you I didn't friend you on LJ (not so far, at least, but I might now), so I didn't see any of that.
I will see what I can whip up! I think my current WIP will be an NYR for my usual beta because she is fabulous, but we'll see going forward.

It was a combination of the fact that it wasn't on your rec list and the fact that you said on the friending meme that you loved Living in America, and then there was the same thing in the opening note (I'm still all squeeful on that bit!).
I was equally sure "Case Files" would be dead obvious, partly from not reccing it and partly because I can't write that era without Phyllis anymore. XD (And third-partly because I hit up Yulechat for historical people/events to draw Artifacts from.)
