Incredible Absent Girl (she never shows up for class, and is still in the valedictorian tailback) has not been at school AT ALL this quarter. Rumor before spring break was she's actually sick this time, but I'd think she would've got over it during break. Or is it she was over it for the occasion of break? (And why would she want to start coming to school now? ::points to icon::)
Another random annoying thing: I take karate, or at least did. Stopped going with any frequency nearly a year ago; last time I went to a class was August. Dad is also signed up, but hasn't had a chance to get there since June (is it our fault the schedule doesn't work next to ours?). The people there get that and stopped our account.
The billing company (some outside force - of eeevil, no doubt) missed that notice. THREE TIMES. So they're charging us money for classes we haven't taken and have worked out, on one level at least, not to pay for. Needless to say, Dad's a bit peeved with them at the mo.
Art Club field trip was supposed to be this Friday; was moved to next Friday at last minute. Already missing next Wednesday and Thursday due to History Club trip to Detroit (note to self: camera(s), Bill and Ted, Back to the Future). So, prolly won't do Art Club trip.
"Oh, dear" has been my recent Phrase Of Note (along with the random Discworld quoting, but this has the advantage of being more flexible). For no known reason, might I add. Suspect my subconscious is attempting to make up for something. XD

But first - someone proposed a Pratchett-swap for when I'm through with this one. He's got Thief of Time.
Anyway, on to the quoteage.
"Except for the bananas, of course. I wouldn't keep fish in my desk."
Death looked down at the list and then back up at Ridcully.
GOOD? he said, in the hope that this was the right response.

(You should've *heard* me when I got to the "banana = fish" bit. I'd ask what these people are on, but it all seems rather pontless. ^_^)

Another note to self: have a locker number to find out tomorrow.
ETA: Completely forgot to mention this before. I have a spiffy pair of sunglasses now. Like I'll actually WEAR the things sort of spiffy. (I've been terrible about wearing sunglasses for most of my life; the combo of GO and that ickle Civic my sister now owns [it's white] got me wearing them for a while last summer, but it didn't really last.)

Incredible Absent Girl. Haaah. I only know one girl who was absent for months and was genuinely sick (mono and various other ailments); other than that, our school has a serious attendance problem with seniors who get into colleges via early admission, and then cut classes for the rest of the year.

And yay for spiffy sunglasses! :)

I have a pair of sunglasses that I like because they look like they come from The Matrix (sort of like Trinity's, if you know the film), but they're too DARK. They block out the sun and most other colors as well. Hmph.
