*the_antiangst: Came from a discussion of Rent!Angel meeting Buffy's Angel. "It'd be pure angst and pure anti-angst! The universe would expl... oh wait."
*abar_starclog: I couldn't get anything else out of Carl, so I ran with canon's anagram thing, and stuck his name in the anagram server. This was the winner.
*snap_time: One of Larry's pre-canon attempts at Inventing Stuff.
*awaroutthere: "There's a war out there, old friend - a world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets, it's about who controls the information." I wanted a canon quote, and that one works just as well pre-canon (when the war in question is Vietnam) as it does during/after.
*post_whitewash: Whitewashing being the derisive name given to Mizzamir's spell (I like it a lot better than Attitude Adjustment, anyway). Descriptive as this one is, it's also the one I'm least satisfied with; if I ever think of something that would work in its stead, I might change it.
*kemo_soggy: Dad and I were in a different room, when I had Mom watch Dr. Horrible, and he thought he heard 'kemo-soggy.' I was kinda surprised he hadn't, considering it was on the heels of 'it's hi-ho Silver! SIGNED BAD HORSE,' and I decided to run with it.
*aintno_disco: When I wrote the backstory fic for Conflict Diamond (only with an eye to having the backstory when I used her in other fics), I ended up calling it 'Life During Wartime,' and so she ended up with a soundtrack. (See also: All her icon keywords are Talking Heads lyrics.)

various journal names in my head:
*doesabearsit (Ziva David, NCIS): "Does a bear sit in the woods?" stands as one of my favorite Zivaisms. I don't know if she'll ever move in enough that I'll make use of it, but.
*half_bat (Sandy Watson, one episode of NCIS): "My mom says I'm half bat." THIS GIRL, SHE IS MADE OF AWESOME. But I don't know if she'll ever merit an app anywhere.
*situationnormal (Aidan Donnelly, original character): the end of 'snafu' is left hanging, in this case, but it definitely applies to the poor boy. After some of his MM hijinks, he's on a much more even keel, but World War I was not kind to his mental state at all.
*lemon_bee (Melissa Black, Potterverse AU kid): Bless us, crazedcrusader and I tried not to name a Black after either a constellation or a flower, and behindthename told me the 'bee' part. ...But it turns out 'melissa' is another name for lemon balm. XD XD XD I think Melissa herself would find it pretty hilarious, if she ever found out, and so.
*once_a_paladin (Blackmail, Villains By Necessity): It's his self-descriptor, once he actually does say something. And I feel like there's a certain element of 'once a paladin, always a paladin' to his actions.
*lookatmywrist (Dr. Horrible): "Oh! Goodness, look at my wrist. I gotta go." I don't know if I'll ever need a journal for Doc, but if I did, this would be my first thought.
