minkhollowEven had a tummy bug to verify my absence, that being early last week. Mom called it mild, which can be translated as "count myself lucky I didn't have to move into the loo."
She told me I could use her school computer while she's in her meeting, so I think the exile, such as it was, is over. Harboring no illusions here, I still expect I'll have a C in maths when the report card shows up. But I've gotten two 89s in a row on tests and the OK to go to the Guster concert.
BUT! Todd Rundgren's going to be in the area, and far enough off that we'll prolly be able to get tickets for it (considering Guster is tomorrow... well.), so now I have to choose between the two. That's just not right. Leaning toward the Todd - even though I've seen him before (twice), Guster's more likely to come back.
Talked Mom into taking me to Borders yesterday so I could get A Rush of Blood to the Head - see, I really *am* listening to "Clocks" now! XD Discovery: Coldplay's first CD (which I did not buy) starts with a song titled "Don't Panic". Why was I not made aware of this fact sooner?
Oh, right. No clocks.
Will do RPG update-thing when I get home (that's where the info is). Sidra, you'll be on my friendslist shortly. Also have several stories to read and post - still undecided on one of the interludes. It scares me that I wrote the thing. Then again, if afrai wrote mpreg...
So. Things you can look forward to:
*The Good Omens/American Gods crossover, and definitely one interlude. Possibly two.
*Reasons why I like Lord of the Rings (continuing from that email, Morgan).
*For those of you on my friendslist, rambling about my screwed-up subconscious. Will be friendlocked because one of the things scares ME. Will also be LJ-cut is your friend.
Oh, and I need a couple pictures, if people could help me out. Is there such a thing as a picture of a computer virus? (That's for the RPG, obviously.) And I need a picture of President Shrubbery for here, because I think the war is stupid and I've got a point for it.

Second -Please keep in mind that one of them is short and the others are short-short. And one of them is all bizarre and scary and stuff (to me, anyway). It's not Good Omens either. That's all I'm saying till I've decided whether to post it and risk eternal punishment or something.
Third - It turned out I'm not *back* back till Friday. But whatever.
Fourth - I might do the weird dreams post first. I don't know.

Anyways...I thought you wrote a Good Omens/American Gods crossover as well? So says in your blog post. Therefore...that would be GO fid to look forward too...ok, now I'm confused.
