And now, I catch up on some memes.
First, the one with the writing: Name me a character A and a character B (preferably from the same series, preferably from a series I'm familiar with) and I will write a note/letter/e-mail/restraining order, written from A to B.
This is the one where you get a letter and upload/list five songs that start with that letter that you like. (I'm not uploading, as I suspect all of these are on iTunes anyway.)
morningwind gave me L:
*Late Night Show - the Animators (Reviewed the CD for WMHC; this sort of grew on me a lot.)
*Lazy Bones - Thicke (This should not be my theme song, but it kind of is.)
*Love, Reign O'er Me - the Who (In conclusion, HELL YES.)
*Lovers in a Dangerous Time - BNL (BASS SOLO. That is all.)
*Lull - Andrew Bird ('Conjugating proverbs'? I just caught that last night and what. XD Also it's pretty.)
I love getting questions for this meme, but I'm terrible about giving them out. So if you really want, you can ask for questions, but I can't guarantee you'll get them in a timely manner (or ever, really). Anyway, these questions come from
dawning_star:
1. What was the worst thing about your college experience?
(For those just tuning in, my comment-for-questions was the best bits: Combination of the people and the radio station.)
Beating my head against the expectations of 'literary fiction,' most likely. That's a conceit that badly needs a sledgehammer taken to it.
2. If you could change one event in history, what would that be?
I'd be sorely tempted to poke the Titanic's designers to stick with the extra lifeboats rather than hold out for more deck space, since I have a feeling talking people out of 'full speed ahead THROUGH AN ICE FIELD!' would be a much harder fight. Less people dying is also a plus, given the circumstances.
3. Where is your favorite place to go to relax?
Used to be the Pond That Doesn't Hold Water (seriously, the only time it did was because we got a load of rain), but that's way too overgrown for its own good at the moment, and once it's unearthed I think my parents want to replace it with an actual pond, or a fountain. For now... my room, mainly, though if it's a yardwork day 'somewhere Dad ISN'T' is also a good option.
4. You have 12 hours before your town is invaded by [insert scary thing of your choice]. What is the scary thing, how do you combat it, and what's your fighting playlist?
Scary thing: Likely Daleks, combat with: blunt objects and/or dropping things on them, playlist: lots of high-octane music.
5. What's an error message that HEX should have?
