So. Looks like I'll have to find shoes to appease the gym's sense of 'OH NO SAND EVERYWHERE WE'RE GONNA DIE (OR TURN THE BASKETBALL COURT INTO A BEACH).' Cheap canvas shoes should do the trick, with the added bonus that I can decorate them! Don't want to spend much more than that would cost me on something I'll be done with by spring break.
In other news, I should not let my mind wander. It comes back with really, really, strange things. (That are fun to write, yes, but... really, really strange.)

Odd...apparently they don't care if fencers duel in beach, because we were not given the speech in my class.

I'm less worried about the sand aspect - I mean, it's a sealed wood floor, they can SWEEP it - and more concerned about the wet-shoes thing. I mean, that floor's hard. I don't want to go falling on it.
