So yesterday I got the fun experience of scraping snow off my car, and out from behind the tires... in sixty-degree weather. And then, to top it all off, I drove to the grocery and back with the windows down. I'll be crying next week when the weather remembers it's January in New England, but it's nice for now. (Car started just fine, so I suspect the lingering hesitation I got pre-concert was because it was Bloody Cold.)
Left me in the mood to venture off-campus for dinner and using up Barnes & Noble gift cards. I now have the first Dirk Gently book ('cause you can't go wrong with Douglas Adams - unless it's Mostly Harmless), and the first Temeraire book, since I've heard good things about that series.
And anyway, I figure you can't go wrong with 'Napoleonic War PLUS DRAGONS.'
