I assume a fanfic LJ you read or post on got suspended. They addressed this in a news post shortly after you posted this:

They're reviewing the journals and will reinstate the ones that aren't against their policies. They also apologize for the mistakes they made. Seemed good to me. I have no problems with them shutting down pro-child abuse journals, though I can't imagine as to who would make such a thing, much less on Livejournal of all places.

Anyways...I'd bet a dollar your missing LJ will be back.

I haven't been hit directly, but the whole thing's just kind of ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with hitting problem LJs. There is a big problem with not looking closely enough to make sure that's all you get rid of.

Yep, it was a knee jerk reaction, I agree. However, I don't see it as some huge 1st amendment bashing or anything. They apologized, even and are going to fix it. People screw up...
