The seniors are a bunch of Southern pansies who can't accept the fact that they lost the basketball event* twice. TWICE! Everybody else came up with "pansies" on their own, and I just went Shadwell on them. XD
Also, I had something of an epiphany earlier.

I have a box full (so to speak) of silver coins in my room. Got maybe half of it from my grandmother (again, so to speak), and added to it on and off with the intention of using it for jug wars.
I didn't use it for jug wars.
The epiphany: I could do a paid account from that! I might even be able to get a year from just the quarters. And if I give that to my parents, they might let me go through with it.
Of course, I was planning to spend it all on books, but if I've got $25 in quarters, there's still a fair amount of book money to be had.

Note to self: add Witchfinder Army to GO community's list of interests. True, small chance anyone else has it, but whatever'll draw people in...
Horray for joining people! Hooray for plugging people (*cough*[livejournal.com profile] vongroovy*cough*)! Hooray for books that make light of the Apocalypse!

My spark for writing Dariafic seems to have gone away.
I mean, I still like reading it and all. But I haven't had any ideas since Slight Return. I don't really view it as a problem, except for the extremely huge (or at least it will be) Unfinished Project that I haven't written anything on in months. I know where I want it to go, so giving it to someone else doesn't strike me as a good idea.
Might have to, though. Bloody hell.

Might be adding a Cirque du Soleil DVD to the movie party, as Princess Grace doesn't know anything about them (prolly none of the four of them do, I'm guessing) and that's the best way to explain it. But three movies is quite likely enough, so I don't know.
* - Spirit Olympics. An even longer story than jug wars, and possibly the closest I get to having school spirit. For my school, anyway.

Paid account status rocks. You get more icons, you get an invite code for every month of paid time, you get a friendfriends list (which amuses me to no end. XD I have no idea why, but it does!), you get to customize more (including making your own mood icons), and LJ tends to behave. I say go for it!

Having been basking in the glow of paid accountage for a little more than 19 hours, I can heartily recommend doing the same. It's really amazing how lj actually cooperates with me when I want it to. And the icons. And the random weird things. It's magic.
