minkhollow: Sputnik: In Soviet Russia, space races YOU! (space races you!)

There is a lack of fooling here; I'm too uncreative for that, at the moment.
So the course catalog for next school year's up. This makes me happy.

Just from going through my major and minor, I have twelve options. TWELVE.
English:
*Short Story I (which is not a prereq for the novel-writing class in the spring,^ it turns out, and is on a conflicting time with Old Norse)
*Queer Theory (it just sounds neat)
*Light Verse (I am sorely, sorely tempted by the prospect of SONDHEIM.)
*Old Norse (best idea in terms of 300-level requirement, for all it'll likely kick my ass)
*Literary Biography (same time as the history seminars I'm eyeing)
*the age-old prospect of doing an independent thing about all the Coleridge references in Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency

History:
*Early Ireland (same time as Old Norse - woe!)
*the Holocaust (early morning... awesome prof... ::dithers::)
*Sexual Revolutions (sounds cool, though I remain 'meh' about the prof)
*We Didn't Start the Fire (if you know the song, you know the topic; time conflict with seminars, but it sounds neat)
*20th-century China (one of said seminars. I kind of want to branch out my history a little, though this may not be the best way to start ever.)
*Minority Rights in Modern Europe (Bohemian Politics prof. Other of said seminars. This... kind of sounds AMAZING.)

^Said novel class sounds full of win. All the way down to submitting the beginning of one. Intro to Creative Writing covers the prereq, and I can pull the 'I'm graduating and I want to get published' card if necessary.

And then in the spring there's the novel thing, and the Crusades class is being offered again. In conclusion I think yes. And I actually have the forms for the seminar applications for the history ones, this year, so I won't go 'what is this paperwork of which you speak?'

It feels like it should be later than it is. That may have something to do with me attempting what History of English reading I felt I could and feeling a bit too scatterbrained to knock off the philosophy assignment at this moment.
