So I have this vague itch to make a website. What for, I don't know; probably a fic repository. Nothing fancy, just... a site.
Only I have nowhere to put one (that I can get to from Hex, anyway; it has a long-standing vendetta with MHC's network space), and I don't trust any of the free servers I used to use.
Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Jen uses 1and1.com. We usually register our domains from godaddy.com, but it looks like 1and1 is doing them pretty cheap. It really depends on what you want to do on the website.

If you need a hand let me know.

Hm. If it's just going to be somewhere to stick fic, a writing comm on LJ seems to be a valid option. *points to own*

There's always an option of getting a proper one set up sometime in the future, when you've got a more solid idea of what to do with it and, with luck, cash to get a spiffy domain name.
