Mom took off with the book to read it whilst proctoring her exam. But I got some reading (lots, it felt like) done after my English exam. So.
First off: GAH! THEY'RE DOING THE NAME THING TO GANDALF NOW!!! Oy vey.
Gollum would continue to be a fruitcake were he in the vicinity at present, I'd imagine. But he's not. Prolly off catching fish (or something) and being a fruitcake.
Poor, poor Faramir. Movie completely got him wrong. Of course, most of you have known this for a while, but it's the first time I'm reading it.
One of my friends is also reading Two Towers at present. She said she's been on the first chapter of the Frodo-Sam-and-Gollum stuff for about a week, but she got through the first part in three days (or thereabouts). Other than the subtext (which didn't come up), we both have similar reasons for wanting the first part to go last. She's also a fellow Legolas fan (book and movie).

English exam was... perhaps too insanely easy. 80 multiple-choice questions in 15 minutes? But then there was the satire-writing. Haven't started on the longer version, before you ask. I was all written out after the history exam.
If you want to call that one an exam, anyway.
Tomorrow's batch will require studying... assuming we have school, that is. It's been snowing since the begining of the exams, so we might be off or delayed. Actually, the exams will require studying either way.
Personally, I'd rather just get the exams overwith. Copious amounts of snow days next week would be fine with me.
