Two Towers update

I am Legolas Greenleaf, Prince of Mirkwood, representative of the Elves in the Fellowship of the Ring. I contributed my archery skills, keen senses and prettiness to the Company, so don't you start. In the movie, I'm played by Orlando Bloom.

I keep getting stopped in the middle of the Helm's Deep chaos. It was just starting when Mom and I got home from church (pit stop at Walgreen's), I stopped in the middle for dinner-related stuff, and then I got a few more pages in before dinner was actually served. Legolas is up to 39 dead orcs, I think. ::checks:: Yep. That whole contest thing is amusing in itself, but then I (of course) throw the subtext in and I'm even happier. Yay subtext!
I will get through that battle before I go to bed. Will do, will do, will do!

In other news. Have actually made some progress on the big Horsepersons fic. And if I go with my original idea for the summary, it'll pose a lot of questions. ::smirk:: Also - footnotes are highly probable!
