minkhollowProblem: Very, very few of my friends understand the squee that is Arlo Guthrie, and/or are disposed to go.
Solution for the former bit, as suggested by the mother: Buy two tickets and talk someone into going through the 'free ticket!' route. Not much as can be done about the latter, but eh.
