Wow, I was feeling rather depressed about the concept of a Rent movie, but that was great! Am I correct in thinking that Mimi and Joanne are different actors (than the original cast)?

Yes - I don't know who Joanne is off the top of my head, but Mimi is Rosario Dawson, I believe.
The thing reduces me to incoherent squeeing EVERY TIME. I'm gonna need thousands upon thousands of tissues, I already know that.
