I was feeling rather antisocial last night, which would explain the lack of posts yesterday (unless you count the five-minutes-after-midnight business).
Anyway.

I was thinking a few days ago about stuff from early on in my participation on the Outpost Daria/Paperpusher boards... do you remember a thread that started about accidentally buying Daria characters' outfits but degenerated in to a Princess Bride quote war? That was fun, even though I hadn't seen the movie in a while and wasn't quite sure on some quotes. But still.

Note of importance: Friends list - new posts from afrai = it looks horribly horribly wrong. Is January over yet?

Something that occurred to me thanks to the latest fic, this is.
The way I see it, War is the only person (so to speak) involved in wars who doesn't lose. She doesn't have an official stake in the outcome, she can change her mind in the middle and put her support behind someone else... but she's not actually fighting for anything. She is just about literally there for fun, which I doubt anyone in an army (or navy, or whatever) can say and mean it.
Needless to say, I'm working that one in. ::smirk of questionable intentions::

On another note, I finally decided what my War icon is going to say when I've got the picture developed. And there was much rejoicing. There'll be even more rejoicing once Mom's developed the film, natch, but... still. Much rejoicing.
It's snowing!
Trying to forget the fact that I have to go to school tomorrow. Also trying to ignore the fact that exams are the end of next week. (eep.)

Um... I think so. Isn't that where the idea for the abandoned Cynic Bride came from?

(by the way, never, ever watch The Princess Bride after reading a bunch of Harry Potter slash. I started coming up with a cast list for The Werewolf Bridegroom. @____x;;; The plot bunny has been set free to bug someone else, so don't worry about me actually trying to write this.)

How do you keep an lj-cut from hiding the whole post? I've seen where people only cut parts of it, and I've always wondered about it.
