I can't decide which is the worst example of irrepressible geekery on my part, and BOTH of these were within 20 minutes of each other...
Example 1: So
day_pirate and I are on our way to class, plane goes overhead with BIIIIG shadow, I start making Vogon jokes because geek, and then... HOLY CRAP IT'S THURSDAY. Never could get the hang of the things. XD
Example 2: Kanji review in Japanese, teacher loses track of card with 'ear' kanji on, said kanji is pronounced 'mimi'... my brain goes directly to Rent, without passing Go or collecting $200. And I haven't even listened to that bit yet.
I give up. Just... I really, really do. XD (Also: Hall choosing tonight. Should prolly go.)

Date: 2005-04-01 08:05 am (UTC)New Zealand's trip was awesome but very very tiring. 29 hours in a plane was a tad too much for me. Above Singapore I felt like running around and flailing my arms around and screaming: Oh shit! We're gonna die! But I managed to control myself. Singaporean (is that correct??) prisons might not be a great place to spend my holidays...
*g* That's annoying. When brains refuse to pass the "Go or collect $200". Don't the brains realize that it's a good thing to do so?
