Little help please?
31 Dec 2002 10:50 pmNot for titles this time, but it does have to do with the story.
I think I'm nearly done with the last leg of it. (Bloody finally, it feels like.) More mentions of Pestilence, but he still doesn't actually talk. Come to think of it, nobody talks in this one. Cool.
Anyway, I can't decide what order to put the ficlets that comprise the thing in. I have War in the middle right now, which works because she's in present tense and the other two aren't, but since the end of Famine's section isn't incredibly cheerful, I might have to move her to the end. Or I could move Pollution to the end. I don't know.
Thoughts, anyone?
So far as the title is concerned, I'll likely stick with the one idea I've had and possibly give the ficlets their own titles. Like I said, it's sort of three ficlets served in one package.
Could still be talked into footnotes at the moment. I don't think they're very likely, but I could still be talked into them.

It depends on whether you want the story to end on a happy note, I guess. I'd advise you to just go with the flow, only advice like that is kind of. Sucky.
Hmm...
The bits I've written reffing Pestilence are still positively begging for background. Guess I know what I'm writing next. XD

Date: 2002-12-31 08:14 pm (UTC)I can't believe the speed and ease with which you write. Me myself, I'm almost superstitious about talking about what I write when I write it. I don't want to jinx it.
(Of course, that doesn't stop me from talking about it anyway.)

Sometimes I can't either. Iron Horses? That was... two or three days. Surprised the heck outta me.
And sometimes talking about it doesn't help in the least, though that's certainly not a problem here. XD

OTOH, I have signed!Coraline, so it all balances out. :)
