The good: afrai-mail!
The bad: Crystal left this afternoon. The world needs Octedays.
The ugly: laundry system almost stuck me with two loads of wet laundry. Not Impressed by that one. 'S dry now, at least.

The dilemma: Duck socks to go with the Halloween costume, or just plain dark gray?
Perhaps I should elaborate. Halloween costume is Crowley. It is just plain NOTTE ALLOWED to even think about raining on Friday*, and I'm sort of counting on the sheer force of my costume's personality to take care of this one; I've got this lovely leather coat wot fits the part perfectly, but unfortunately can't will it never rained-on at all, should that happen. (I can use my rain jacket as a backup plan, but that's just not the same.)
Otherwise the costume is as follows: Black dress pants, black tank top with red dress shirt over it, whichever coat ends up suiting the weather, tall shoes (since they're black), and spiffy sunglasses. Had it all set to go last year and then school didn't have a Halloween dance (mumble).
This is of course why I get stuck on the sock issue. On the one hand, the plain ones'd go better on the whole. On the other hand... well, ducks. This is a Good Omens character we're talking about, after all.
...Also, could I talk any locals into going as Aziraphale, perchance? XD

*Have to dress up early, as I prolly can't get out of work just so I can dress up. Especially not since that'd be two weeks off in a row.

I vote for the ducks. Because, yes, Good Omens character. Also, any excuse to wear duck socks, really. ^^

You do realize, of course, that you have to provide us with pictures, yes? I thought so. And DUCKS.

Did you get the Morgan-mail, yet?

I quite agree with the bad. And to think, it almost didn't happen, because the Valley driver ended up not knowing that the hall has a front door.

Make that a third vote for the ducks. While yes, Crowley would probably go for the gray and clearly voice his opinion on matching perfectly, the ducks are too much to pass up. Which is why, of course, I am using my new Crowley icon. He's reminding you that he cares, in his own... certain, way.

I found that 1790's art, and am going to have to take a day or two to compile that post for you, and get that money to you. To my utmost horror, barely a half hour after I tirely hopped into the van, I was informed of having a JOB. WOE. And at Gold Star too, the bastards. I'm threatening to run off to college. ;)

Am off. Children are threatening to reenact Choke, and not in a good way.

DUDE! That rain sucks something major. Hope it passes because the long coat is essential. Thanks for the recs. I'm going to go on a major hunt for more soon. Wish I could do it sooner, but my time has been cut. That job I mentioned? I'm getting ready to go to work. As in, right now. Don't they know they're cutting into my internet time?!

But YES! College! If I get the time to look at MHC's homepage, i've entered the thought into Dad and Erika's mind.

No, actually I was hired before I had the chance to apply. Before I even knew. And with my father in charge, there is no room for a decline, either polite or forceful. I just got back from work, and I am so pissed. I'm going to see if I can get MHC to send me a pamplet or some info to help beef up the idea of me going.

I'm glad to hear about the emergency potato! If I didn't know any better, I'd swear you were trying to get me into Milliways. I glanced at some names and through a couple of entries, including your emergency potato one. While I just skimmed the first few, reading Charlie [whose mun is a very good writer, btw] talking to Joe? The thought alone is quite amusing. Then I found that you have the Disreputable Dog [also known as Kibeth] and one of my favorites, Yrael [also known as Mogget, who is quite the snipy bastard] on there! I may read a thread here and there, when the time can be found.

Right now I'm off to bed, as should you, if you haven't already, though knowing you I doubt it. I'm still ages behind on my flist, and with work now, well, that college is looking ever so much more promising.

Holy crap, I finally know what to be for Halloween.

And I can easily obtain duck socks. Score.
