Japanese midterm did NOT kill me. (We start katakana tomorrow. Oh dear God. XD)
empress_elle is in fact still alive!; was at dinner for at least an hour talking to her and Vera and
militantgeek. Fun times.
Elfing - or, as it was so aptly described by Vera last night, 'the thing with the things and the people and the stuff,' is one of the most elaborate feel-good schemes I've seen so far. Basic'ly the sophomores put all this stuff together to surprise the firsties, and it's anonymous for... at least a week, from what I understand.
Another side effect of this one is waking up to newspaper or toilet paper or something taped across your door. (We got newspaper.)
My person's leaving questions for me to answer, and I get to ask some back for figuring out purposes. She asked favorite color, and since name isn't a fair question at this point in the game, my first one was 'what is your quest?' The others I asked may perhaps be slightly more helpful re: info-gathering, but... you know. Geekery is on my sleeve (literally, in two cases).
There're magazine ads with people's names written into 'em all over the place, too - I've got bunches. My favorite's being written into the Zoloft ad, though. Hilarious.
And now... bio lab stuff?
milliways_bar? Novel plotting? Only time will tell...
