Actually, I moved in yesterday afternoon - for which Charisse gets bonus Cool Roommate Points. The room's got a terrific view, and between the top-floor-ness and the little tiny fridge I've decided to call it the tree fort.
I have to say, though, this whole thing felt like just another road trip right up until the parents left.
The stereo was giving me hell earlier, and so was the Interweb for a while, but that was nothing a restart wouldn't fix. And I'm two-thirds of the way through Night Watch. LOVE IT. (Why yes, I'm trying to distract myself - is it that easy to tell?)
Also. Shower. There's less space than the shower at home, and the few of you who've seen that one ought to know what an impressive trick THAT is. It'd be better if you could adjust the stupid faucet...
