LJ cut is your *friend!*
So while the kids were napping today I found a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and readsome most of it. The wild crazy theory part will only make sense, really, to those who are familiar with Doctor Who.
I figure, after that whole putting-a-bed-in-an-ELEVATOR-for-Pete's-sake business, there's nothing to it other than Willy Wonka is a Time Lord. This is, naturally, mostly me being strange. All the pieces are there, when you know what you're looking for.
Aaand continuing on our merry adventure...
Stolen from Erin. I'm sure she won't mind.
First Name: Jill
Age: 16
Nicknames: Cimorene, Tracy, War (That last from the one other person I've had finish Good Omens thus far.)
It is always a pleasure to hear: good music.
The weather this month has been: cold, mostly, but there were a few warm days last week. Some snow too.
I am hoping that I can make: (well, have someone else make) a t-shirt for a friend's slightly belated Christmas present.
Right now I am listening to the sound of: "San Tropez" - Pink Floyd. Rather unusual little song for them. But in a good way.
I wish, intensely, that I didn't have to: take exams... what, three weeks from now? Gah, don't remind me.
There is something extraordinarily fascinating about: reading something I've read two or three times before and finding some new little joke in it.
I recently found: out that most of Vanessa Carlton's music is... well, darker than "A Thousand Miles", but it's still not really awful or anything.
I have been wishing: for a new portable CD player. It paid off. And that I can bloody well find a copy of Coraline somewhere. That book has been impossible to track down!
When I'm in New York, I'll say: lots of things, I'm sure, but probably "coooool" quite a bit once we hit the art museums.
I need not tell you: precisely how strange my subconscious can get.
I love to: read, write, surf the Interweb, listen to good music, and be rather obsessive abou the things I truly like.
As you know, I make a great ado about: rare finds in just about any fandom, though lately it's nearly all been GO stuff.
It makes me extremely proud to know: that one of my lookers-at for "Slight Return" liked my writing even though I utterly confused him with the story. It's that crossover thing.
I have been trying to: completely mess up my sleeping schedule, it seems. How else do you describe staying up till one in the morning when there's no real reason to?
In my opinion, most people are: people. (Erin had a good answer here...)
I am wholly in favor of: localized Armageddons for truly idiotic personages. As they will find out if they get me upset again (though I plan on avoiding that one...).
How fortunate I am to: have at least some relatives I can talk to, even if they do tend to be the adults...
I am somewhat lazy about: homework. Particularly math homework, which doesn't help my case at all.
The last weird thing I ate was: goose. Christmas dinner. Tasted rather like chicken, actually.
Today I am: eight service hours farther along on this year's "goal." Should be about half done.
Right now, I am feeling: slightly congested, but certainly better than yesterday morning.
One of the first things I do when I wake up is: go back to sleep. If it's a school day... go get my uniform out of the laundry room if necessary, *then* go back to sleep.
I am much interested in: seeing Good Omens make it to being a movie.
Every now and then, I think of: stuff. And things, can't do without things, you know.
Right now, I am hearing: "Fearless" - Pink Floyd. Also know as the song with parts of the Shut That Bloody Computer Up Song in it. (You know, in the first Hitchhiker book, during the nuclear missles business...)
Tomorrow I am going to: watch Spiderman, since it has to be back at the rental place by noon Sunday. And sleep as late as I can manage.
I could not live without: good music, good books, copious amounts of caffeine (in the form of Mountain Dew), and lots of notebooks and pens.

17. Seen the statue of liberty?: That'll be this summer, as NYC is in the travel plans.
