I have a roommate! Finally!
And it seems I have one lingering question from that 'ask me a question' poll... er. Last month. (I think my reasoning was to try and wait for another, but that never happened, obviously.) So, answering that now:
What are your biggest phobias?
Fog and getting caught between more than one mirror, both of which are because I take the Brit humour a bit too seriously at times. The fog is a Moving Pictures thing - you'd be scared too, if it made Things climb out of the movie screen at you! (For about a week after I finished that one, I was even wary about the TV.) Mirrors are Witches Abroad, and it's not mirrors in general, just getting stuck between them (I blame the end of the book). Needless to say, I'm not a big fan of the three-way mirror at work.

Prospect is lakeside quad. It will have lots of firsties in it and has the *best* food. It's newer and admittedly ugly but don't be scared by people saying it, 18, torrey, etc are "horrible" and such- they aren't all the dorms are far better than a dorm at most colleges.

Res Life doesn't really listen to what quads people request b/c first off *everyone* requests rocky quad (or at least a large chunk of people do) and second off, they match you with a roommate first (which is way more important) and there's no garuntee that you both put down the same quad.

I lived in lakeside my first two years. It's all about the lowerlake ducks!

hehe, yes, dubious meetings feeding the ducks. I'm a bit obsessed with the ducks (and geese) but they're so much fun to watch. Especially in the winter. They stay b/c part of the stream doesn't freeze and it's hilarious to watch them sliding around on the ice.

Oh, and it's all about the white goose. There's this one goose that thinks he's a duck, he hangs out with all the ducks instead of the other geese (and all the other geese are the grey, canadian type). It's hilarious, he has a little posse of ducks that follow him around. Okay, i'll stop now, my duck love is probably freaking you out :)

ha, i'll totally come feed ducks with you, and i can supply several duck obsessed friends, many of whom are also good omens obsessed.

That makes me remember something funny- in blanchard cafe you put in an order under your name and then they call out your name when your food is done. One time we all put down good omens characters and laughed our heads off when they called them :)

Who's your roommate and where is she from? Have you contacted her yet? Sorry about my interrogation.
