As of last night, I can run the register at work. And today I got somebody to sign up for a charge card! But I think they need to play more than two tapes a day, you know?
Brainwave: Might have funds on hand to get BNL tickets. That would rock so. Much.
Tried to call Jen 3; got her voicemail again. Jen 2 suggested going up to Columbus for the Chihuly exhibit, partly because I haven't seen it and partly to get me driving some more, so I'm gonna see if Jen 3 would be interested.
Also... ::pokes Ji and Julie:: If there's not loggage (or possibly fic), I'ma go POSTAL on you two. And I've learned from a professional.

I think I might start pestering Ji by email, anyway, as I need to pester her about a few other things.

Plus, the developments will directly affect my characters as Beth will of course go looking for Vlad the moment he arrives in Ankh-Morpork.

Fell through to where? Email logs with Ashie tend to take time, but will eventually emerge. At least that is my experience.

Who knows? I sent something off a few days ago and haven't heard back. What's worse, I've stopped saving bits since the other computer went wonky (it'd be pointless to have half on one computer and half on another, I think).

A few days' silence is normal, but to stop saving them is - unwise. Don't you save the emails somewhere?

You are right about Billy Boy, of course. One day, I shall be bold and install Linux. Problem's just that my little foldup computer doesn't have enough free disk space for a second partition.

I always include Octeday - it is such a useful day where you can shove all the odds and end happening you wouldn't have had time for otherwise.

To each their own, I guess. (Also, the way I see it, there's far less of a virus risk with non-Microsoft, since the markets are smaller. I don't think the people making the things think they'd get enough of an ego boost from it. I mean, I know there's still a risk, but.)
