minkhollowOkay, so I called work to tell 'em I'd be a bit late and then got the grandmother to come over. Jen 2 got there at the same time and gave me the ride after all - she'd got stuck in traffic. Adventure for the day is now over.
Still not running the register, but there'll be other days. It's entirely possible to walk (very fast) to Burger King, get a burger, walk back to the store, and eat it in 15 minutes. Oh, and somebody cut a theft-detection tag off something. That was interesting.
Refilled Jen 2's gas tank after work and talked about lots of stuff.
