Mowed some of the lawn today. But really, now, when a cicada lands on my NOSE I'm through with yardwork. That's a little too close to nature for my comfort.
Went to the library to get the books I had on hold. I've started in on The Last Hero. Pretty (well, most of the drawings, anyway). I think Mom's gonna have to see this one once I'm through with it.
Got a packet/folder/thing from college today. Lots and lots of forms. 'S got me all excited about this school thing (but Friday, I won't be - you just watch).

Paul Kidby does beautiful work.

Ew, nature. Best viewed from a distance, methinks.

Yeeeah. Really, really not.

*pat* You'll like it here. No cicadas, no humidity to speak of...regular temperatures...

Regular like San Francisco is like a temperature-regulated building, although...wait...
Never mind, the fog would bug you.

I was SO EXCITED when I got an envelope full of forms for Brown -- this was sometime around April -- and I read through everything and did Happy Bouncy Movements.

I realized the other day that quite a few of them needed to be filled out and postmarked by June 1st, and wow, it was already May 29th.

*cringes* Don't follow my example! ;D
