Well, in that regard, anyway. The new floor's nearly all in the kitchen, parents actually wound up yelling at each other earlier (they rarely do - I think it's something to do with Mom being sick), I have a speech to finish wot I am effectively procrastinating on, at some point I want to move some RPage plot along (not the sofa bit yet, for obvious reasons), and it's three years to the day since Douglas Adams died. (I swear I didn't time the sofa thing on purpose; I only realized the day this afternoon.) Oh, and I'm nearly done with those bloody announcements.
Excitement and adventure and really wild things.

Three years already? Oh, dear - I remember how shocked I was, and how I wrote an obituary about him instead of my usual book review for Areion that same week...

I have seen him once, you know, on a reading tour for "Last Chance To See". The Sofa plopping up in the flow of the narrativium is a good and fitting memorial.

Semi-related note: Hitchhiker's Guide movie! Next summer! I'm kinda glad it took this long to get around to it. The special effects will be up to the job.

Saw him? Well, yes, sorta. He was in the front of the hall, at a table, reading LCTS very vividly. It wasn't a signing opportunity or anything. But yes, I was in the same room as Douglas Adams once.

A movie?! A proper, non-cheesy movie with all the CGI trickery that can be done nowadays? Where Zaphod Beeblebrox will look as he's supposed to be? Oh yay, what good news! Any casting decisions know yet?

Yep! Movie! (And if Douglas Adams hadn't managed to finish the script before he died, I'd be extremely worried about it.) Not sure about casting - maybe poking around IMDb will tell you something.
And in regards to the RPage bit - when events unfold, I'm quoting as much as I plausibly can. (I've got Thursday to work with and everything!)

You know, if it gets stuck, Teppic might come and help. He's got just the mind for maps, plans and spatial orientation to pronounce the sofa irrevocably stuck, if such needs to happen. I will be hanging around anyway to see how it develops.

Oh, if it gets stuck in any capacity, Morgan's probably going to proclaim it Teppic's fault (since he brought up sofas getting stuck on the stairs in the first place).
I've got Friday off school, so I'll have most of tomorrow night to move things along.
