minkhollow: view from below a copper birch at Mount Holyoke (rpgs will eat your brain...)
My friends want to live in my house. XD And I think any of them would have been happy to take the dog home with them. (I wouldn't've minded, though Dad might have.)
Watched Young Frankenstein, Roxanne, PotC, and Raising Arizona. Fun times all round. Finally got my bacon!pizza fix, too.
RPage is going swiftly insane. Moreso than it already was, at any rate. (Nothing quite like alcohol to make one forget completely about being contagious, hmm?) Speaking of which - ::facepalms:: [livejournal.com profile] villainny, I probably should've also grabbed the link where bits of things from the sulking!log I dug up for you to read became public knowledge. At least I know where to find that.

You know how it is when you're RPing and you come up with a plot (or a plot twist) that winds up hitting the character it applies to a LOT harder than you thought it would? That happened to me last night. I'm almost scared to listen to "Clarity" again because it might start the whole mood up over again. But then again, it's one of those things that has to be dealt with.
Rather like the bits of plot that actually involve other people, but I have yet to get a response in that regard - will post one just as soon as I have (hopefully tonight), thanks very much.
Also, I think it's time for an icon wot reflects my political leanings at the moment. Not to mention my fannish leanings. But since I don't want to throw out any of my current batch, I'll be posting it in my user info and also making it free for grabs. Going to go make it now.

OK, so maybe I'm a little unbalanced, mentally. Maybe I just read too much. Maybe I'm just this desperate to get the Shrub out of the White House. But I really think this might work.
The premise of the US Constitution is to limit the national government, yes? I've got someone in mind who would pretty much let things run themselves. You don't get much more limited than that, I don't think.
This is also someone who foresees all possible outcomes and prepares for them, so if everything goes down the toilet, we'd be in good hands.
Is the current budget deficit your biggest concern? I think it's safe to say that under this particular leadership, said deficit would be well on its way to being rectified.
Fourth and perhaps most importantly - after the fiasco that was the 2000 election, I'm offering a firm believer in the principle of 'one man, one vote.'

Er... I can virtually guarantee that the above didn't make any sense to those of you who haven't read any Discworld before. What can I say other than you really, really should? And I think all of my points are backed by canon at some point.
Icon's free for the taking, if you so choose. I'd be using it myself except I love my current set too much, so it's going in the user info. You don't even have to credit it, though I'd love it if you did.
