minkhollow: view from below a copper birch at Mount Holyoke (elf + dwarf = fate)
[livejournal.com profile] afrai made this one. Something of a GIP due to random stormosity on the part of the weather.
Hey... ::ping!::
And maybe I'll get something done otherwise. Who's to say?
(afrai, if you're doing questions later it might be better to email them to me, as I prolly won't see them till Thursday.)

Apparently I should do something other than sit in front of the computer all day.
...Prolly true, but for now my argument stands as: excuse me, but for the next four days I'll be doing lots of other things. So just deal, will you? :b
Anyway.
Go look at the pretty picture. Thank you friendsfriends for delivering that gem. (There's also an interesting GO ficlet out there - if I find it again I'll link it.)
Finally opened the SFBC catalog-thing (partially to make sure we weren't getting books sent due to not sending back the wossname). They've got Wee Free Men, shall commence poking parents. Small Pterry bio aongside the blurb - apparently he filmed orangutans in ther native habitat. Given the state of the Librarian, that doesn't really surprise me. XD
...So what does it say for that jewelry place that it sounds like they've got a woman singing their commercial? It's... just... no.

See, I took a Peter Gabriel CD on junior retreat, and I took Hunky Dory on the Detroit trip, but I'm not sure what to take this time. (Other than maybe a copy of one of my playlists 'cause it ROCKS.)
So.
[Poll #143420]
(ETA: Bloody hell. I spelled "Kairos" wrong, and can't figure out how to fix it. Oh well.)

Mostly, that is. Don't have any notebooks in. (Am not expecting to get any writing done, aside from the note-type deals. You just know they're going to pop up again.) And I might try for some drawing later. Who knows?
If I do write anything I've got a sneaking suspicion it'll be a zany crossover what [livejournal.com profile] daegaer mentioned first. She knows which, as do a few others. Just... gah.
Am going to post that RPG-thing I was having issues with in a few minutes. I need to get this going before I leave, and the post is going to be OOC but that's necessary. And then when I get back things will resume as normal. (ish. ::smirk::)
...I can take my own Todd Rundgren along. Duh.
Due to limited CD space I'll prolly take Harry Nilsson. That and parents would go nuts if I tok the 2-CD Who thing, which is what I'd go for.
Got out my Daria/Doctor Who crossover this morning and reread what I'd written last time. I like the concept, I like what's done, but I just can't get anywhere on it. This stuff was the third or fourth time I tried to get it going (fittingly enough).
ETA: answers for clarinelf )
Anyone else wants questions, ask but be aware you won't get them till Thursday.
