Day three of the fandom plugs, and... well, all right, so Daria's not the most obscure thing I can come up with. But it's got next to no LJ presence, far as I can tell.
Daria is easily the best thing to come from MTV in recent years, and possibly overall (though I was either not alive or not paying attention for the first decade, so I can't judge on that count). And besides, there's the sheer luck of an intelligent show surviving five years on the Real World Network.
I've said before that this is the first fandom I was really active in - the people were great, and still are, though a good-sized chunk of the crowd is different.
For your investigative pleasure: Outpost Daria. Just about any of the featured authors on the fanfic page are worth the time - fair warning, though, in some cases you'll find really long fic, or lots of fic, or both.
Also, since I think you can read the board's posts without being signed up, an ongoing fic wot will pull you right in: Fortunate One by Roger E. Moore. It's alternate-universe and bloody well LOADED with angst.
Perhaps I'll plug something a bit more obscure later.

::pokes Celestina and Frar:: If you two could possibly be around RPage-type areas after you get out of school, that'd be favorite; it may be the last chance we get to log that explosion till after my spring break's over. I don't know whether Mom and I are roadtripping tomorrow or not, but I'm going on the assumption that we are, and you know what log time on not-weekends is like (nonexistent).
Started Interesting Times today. Fitting title. Quite good so far. In study hall I was reading bits of it to Apple, and also trying to explain HEX and how they've got electricity but don't and a few other bits. She said it's funny, but makes her brain explode. XD

Tepp's in the Stone Inn right now, if anybody cares to show up or anything.

Nobody else even reacted, though, so we might just be by our lonesomes again, twiddle virtual thumbs and curse Ade...

Yes. She didn't catch me, though. Nor Nny. We were spared.

I am still glad I wasn't there.-
