1. Does my username suit me? - Well, truthfuly, I don't understand your username. ^^;;; But I'm so used to it, I couldn't imagine you having anything else.

2) Line from Moving Pictures - these days I've got Discworld on the brain more or less constantly, after all. XD
6) Revolving doors = fun times. Just about whenever we go someplace that has one I go through it.
7) ...You had to pick a long story, didn't you.
It's a joke from the RPage. I'm not sure how much sense this is going to make, considering you haven't read any Discworld yet, but... the Patrician's basically the guy in charge of the city where most stuff winds up happening, and through a random plot twist we've got two of him at the moment. Like I said - long story (going in terms of books, I haven't even read half of it yet).
