Finished Equal Rites the other day (better than The Light Fantastic, but not by very much, if you ask me) and started on Lords and Ladies. Am far enough for Ponder to turn up, and I've got to say - his first line in there? Sparked necessity for a Discworld/EFC crossover. It's all about the geek speak. XD
And at the moment I've got a Harry Potter/Discworld crossover up in another window. It's truly brilliant. Scene changes are a little... abrupt, but if that's the only flaw I've found so far I must have hit a good one. Will post to
foodless_diet once I've finished reading.
It looks like the parents and I are going to New Orleans over spring break. Coolness. (Even though catching up with the RPage afterward is gonna be bloody difficult. XD)

Harry Potter/Discworld! Harry Potter is the white bread of crossovers, but Discworld is the alcohol. (So that makes . . . soggy bread? Never mind me.)

And after the Heathen Gods drabble challenge, I think PotC qualifies for that too. XD
This one's a WIP. But it's just great. Truly inspired.

Little black dresses. I'll have to remember that.

Date: 2004-02-23 12:22 pm (UTC)I liked Thief of Time - not as much as several others, but it wasn't so bad. The only Rincewind book I've really LIKED so far was Sourcery (have the last two to read yet). Most of the others I got through thanks to the Luggage being around, and in the case of TLF only barely.
Hey, Discworld opinions are good. More people should have them (which is why I always tell my friends to read the books).
