Finished Equal Rites the other day (better than The Light Fantastic, but not by very much, if you ask me) and started on Lords and Ladies. Am far enough for Ponder to turn up, and I've got to say - his first line in there? Sparked necessity for a Discworld/EFC crossover. It's all about the geek speak. XD
And at the moment I've got a Harry Potter/Discworld crossover up in another window. It's truly brilliant. Scene changes are a little... abrupt, but if that's the only flaw I've found so far I must have hit a good one. Will post to [livejournal.com profile] foodless_diet once I've finished reading.
It looks like the parents and I are going to New Orleans over spring break. Coolness. (Even though catching up with the RPage afterward is gonna be bloody difficult. XD)

I think I liked The Light Fantastic better. But that may be because I read it quite early in my Discworld readathon, and was more "sparkly!" than "he's done better."

I definitely liked Lord and Ladies better. <3

Harry Potter/Discworld! Harry Potter is the white bread of crossovers, but Discworld is the alcohol. (So that makes . . . soggy bread? Never mind me.)

(I meant that more in the spirit of "I am not an Equal Rites fan" than "I recommend The Light Fantastic." There are better and sparklier Discbooks around to reread, after all. :)

Ooh! Good Omens, too. Aziraphale and Crowley can just wander into anything. It's quite handy, being an angel. Some of my beloved manga crosses over wonderfully, but the fic-writing fandom population is tiny.

Little black dresses. I'll have to remember that.

I had to add you to my friends list after reading this entry. Not only are you a Discworld devotee, you also read HP/DW crossovers.

Hope you don't mind.

Oh, and also: Equal Rites is probably my least favourite DW novel, after Thief of Time. I haven't read The Light Fantastic in a while, but I apart from the fact that i didn't much care for Rincewind until Interesting Times, I think I enjoyed it.

Hmm. Not a very interesting comment, but I can never refrain from voicing Discworld related opinions.

:)
