OTP plugging - day seven

The last of my GO OTPs, and the second-to-last as covered by this meme-thing, is War/Pestilence.
I don't recall exactly how I cam up with this one. Certainly not by way of canon - Pestilence gets about a sentence's worth of appearance, and that's more of a side note than anything. I think it was a combination of buggreallethis RPage (in terms of filling out Pestilence's character, at least) and reading between the lines of my own fic (that's the bit that applies to the relationship end of things).
At any rate, it's an OTP of mine. And I might be alone in that camp - at least, I'm fairly certain I'm the only person who's written anything in this category. There're hints at it in Off-Color Christmas and I Really Admire Your Shoes, but Holiday in Spain is where it came to the forefront, more or less. (Despite the angst. XD) And one of these days I'll get off my duff and finish the long story featuring those two.
