I'll get to that bit in a minute. But first, in case the RPage types were wondering: Yes, that one comment of mine refers to someone in particular. He graduated last year and I'll be quite happy if I never have to see him again.
Anyway. Ji - you remember how we were trying to figure out how Small Gods fits into the Discworld timeline? I'm rereading Thief of Time at the moment, and I think I found the answer. It doesn't.

The history of the country of Ephebe was puzzling, for example. Either its famous philosophers lived for a very long time, or inherited their names, or extra bits had been stitched into history there. The history of Omnia was a mess. Two centuries had been folded into one, by the look of it, and it was only because of the mind-set of the Omnians, whose religion mixed the past and future with the present in any case, that it could possibly have passed unnoticed.

Sounds to me like Pterry noticed something was screwy with the way things fit together in the timeline, and then came up with a clever explanation. XD

And now that that's over... I haven't mentioned yet, but we've got an extra dog this week (dog-sitting for a friend). Hyperactive, non-housebroken, ill-mannered.

I saw it at the Best Friend's...I don't remember why.
I do remember his getting up to cover the TV so we could watch Jack draw instead of any actual nakedosity though. "Look at the shading!" said he.
Snicker.

I think it was something along the lines of Rave In.
