Gacked from everyone really but [livejournal.com profile] daegaer in particular:
Some of the people on my friends list, I hardly know. Some of you I think I know well, but I'm sure have the capacity to surprise me still.
So: comment and tell me something about you. Something random, or something that you think is the key to your entire personality. Yes, even the people I've known for years. Yes, even the people I've never talked to.

I've suddenly developed a huge nostalgic crush on the Duck Tales theme song. I'm not sure whether I find this horrifying or amusing. (Did you ever watch Duck Tales?)

The bit where Kevin Bacon does his solo dance in the big shed in Footloose is my number one top cheesiest film moment of all time.

I learned bassoon for 2 years. I gave up when I could play the "Ivor The Engine" theme, partly because my teacher was a creep, but mainly because that was the apogee of bassoon playing, as far as I was concerned.

I talk to myself and I sing in the shower.

That really is the key to my entire personality.

i love bruises, and become very disappointed in myself if i return from a concert without one. the only reason why i'm not disappointed in last night's event if because i almost broke my right index finger and every step i take hurts, and i love that just as much.

also, living without music is not an option for me. not an option at all.

c.

When I was born, the doctors told my parents I was going to be a midget.

They were wrong.

I've got a heart-shaped birthmark on my stomach.

Key to my personality? Perhaps...

I am phobic about spiders to the point that I shake out all my clothes and my towels before putting them on. I used to make my sisters check my shoes, too.

Hmm. I tell you lots of stuff. La...

I think my friend's boyfriend looked lovely in his skirt. But I shall never tell.

...oh look, I just have.

I have this penchant for finding and 'shipping the less popular pairings in a fandom... and it sometimes feels like it's just in time for them to become popular.

My hair is quite possibly the most evil thing on the planet, next to spray cheese.

I fell in love with Tori Amos after watching her Sparks video. The piano solo was what clinched it.

When I was in second grade, I got a pink Mickey Mouse jacket for Christmas. Two weeks later, I left it on the playground at recess, and I never saw it again. My mother was so angry at me that now, fifteen years later, I still feel insanely guilty about it, even though I know there's certainly nothing I can do to get the jacket back now. Not to mention that it would be a bit too small, and pink is really not my color.

I was first introduced to Terry Pratchett when mom brought home Men at Arms and read the entire thing aloud to me.

We were both hooked.
