Even so, I believe [livejournal.com profile] fromconcentrate mentioned random lyrics earlier:
It's such a great day I wish I could buy it
It looks so good it makes my eyeballs hurt...

And I haven't even watched that recently - how's that for random? XD
On the subject of both BNL and this being a bad year for musicians... a certain Canadian keyboardist better not relapse (you hear that, Kevin?). And the rest of the band ought be careful as well, but still.
Parents were messing about with Warren Zevon lyrics after dinner; I made sure to inform them that that was "so three weeks ago." (Though possibly it's two... I dunno.)

Incidentally... [livejournal.com profile] daegaer, we couldn't talk you into writing a Pirates/Neverwhere crossover, could we?

No no no! The current madness is PoTC/GO - PoTC/Neverwhere will no doubt trundle along though. Hmmm. Unless the Marquis just shows up randomly . . . Hmmm.

My poor brain.

*meaningful look* Start the PoTC/Neverwhere! Then I'll be psychic-like. :)

Well, PotC/GO is intriguing too. Who would meet who? There are some serious orgy possibilities there.
...only I don't want Crowley and Aziraphale to part! *sulks*

Oh, and *poke* -- you know you think Captain Jack Sparrow and the Marquis de Carabas would have fun together!

i agree with you on the fact that it's a bad year for musicians. both dad and i nearly flipped when we found out about robert palmer yesterday. sad sad times.

one of my favorite musicians has a life threatening disease that's not been behaving the past few months, so i've got my fingers crossed for him and every other musician, just about. no more relapses, please. if there is, i'm going to punch someone.

yeah, i hear you there. the one i was talking about, daryl, has crohn's intestinal disease, and not only has he been on his death bed more than once, he'd had about four relapses in the past seven or so months. he's working with a specialist, but my fingers and toes are crossed for him. he wasn't supposed to see twenty, and already he's twenty-four.

it's always a shame to know that someone you look up to and/or admire has something as terrible as crohn's or any type of cancer. but it's also good to know that they are still out there, living their dreams, and pretty much just living, even going through the things they must to survive. you can't help but admire such a person.
