Wound up not going to the fireworks on grounds of sucky weather. none of us wanted to sit out on the Serpentine Wall in the rain, especially not the cold rain (figure I'll get enough of that during late-season football), and if the state of the air in the evening was any indication the smoke would've stayed over the river. Ew.
So, we went to Rock Bottom for a late lunch, wound up staying there for two or three hours (no rush. XD), and going to see Pirates of the Caribbean. FUN movie. Went out for ice cream after.
Anyway. Movie = keeper.
Decided the rum was gone because someone spilled it on the floor in the theater. That was prolly just pop, but still.
Pirates/Neverwhere would make a great crossover. Jack Sparrow and de Carabas would get on smashingly. XD
And I am thoroughly convinced that Jonathan Teatime was one of the bad-guy pirates. With that fake eye and generally psychotic attitude? I will not be told otherwise here.
(ETA: Anyone have an LJ code they could spare? I'm thinking about getting in on the Discworld RP madness...)

Will do (may be a bit, though; between cleaning the kitchen and thunderstorms I'll be offline for a while).

Oh, pirates, how I adore you. Fabulous movie, I'm glad you got to see it. And Captain Jack Sparrow's mannerisms were so fantastic.
