It's not happening tonight, it may not happen tomorrow, I can't tell you when. So.
From
shati, this time:
1. Who would you rather have lunch with: Crowley or Aziraphale? This assuming you are guaranteed no physical harm by the encounter, and guaranteed that they won't use their spiffy powers on you.
...Crowley. Guaranteed interesting conversation, as well. (Not to mention it’s one step closer to achieving certain insane-fangirl plots we could mention (Morgan).)
And you’d think the way I am with books I’d’ve gone with Aziraphale, but I really think he’s of a different readership altogether.
2. If you were to write a romance novel about two colleges in love, which colleges would they be? What would the colleges be like? Age? Gender? What would their relationship be like?
Oh dear... XD
You know, I don’t think I would write one. (Sorry about the general craptasticness of that answer, but it’s the truth, at least.)
3. My conscience twinges, but I must ask a bad desert island question. If you were stranded on a desert island, name the two people (real, internet, historical/dead, fictional) you'd bring with you, and explain why.
Hmm. The dreaded psychotic muse would almost certainly be along, if for no reason other than to bug me. (What else would she do, after all?) So I imagine I’d have quite a lot of writing supplies on this desert island. She may be psychotic but I get good plotlines out of the deal, and I’m insane myself so it all works out. As for the other person... someone who could keep everyone alive till such time as a rescue mission made its way there, since I’d suck at it.
4. Why are you obsessed with the things you're obsessed with? What makes them obsessworthy?
I’m obsessed with music because I need to have some sort of background noise, and all the better if it’s pretty (and occasionally makes you think). I’m obsessed with Daria because of the sarcasm and the overall originality of the show, though it’s a fading thing as of late. I’m obsessed with the Hitchhiker’s Trilogy and Good Omens because they make the end of the world funny, and GO has the bonus of really laughing at religion. I’m obsessed with Bill and Ted because “be excellent to each other” really is advice to live by. I’m obsessed with Discworld because it’s bloody INSANE, and that is a good thing. I’m obsessed with the Heavenly Chaos stuff because it’s also bloody insane (Celestina, that’s a compliment) and everybody needs a little blasphemy.
...Might have to come back and fill things in later.
5. If you were an angel, what would you be the angel of? What level of the hierarchy would you be? Fallen or holy?
I dunno, British humour maybe? Works for me, seeing as I read so much of it. I so don’t remember the hierarchy-wossname (had a book that explained it, but said book disappeared long ago), and I’d only want holy if we’re talking the Heavenly Chaos sot of heaven. All the other varieites sound kinda boring, to be honest, but that’s one’s free entertainment!
Also,
lumos_obscurum? Fun stuff. Morgan, you'd really like certain plot elements (you'll know what I mean when you get there. ^_^).
ETA: Oh yeah, I forgot. What's the metric equivalent of five feet, five inches? (Too lazy to check myself, and I'm not certain resources are available in terms of rulers.)

Date: 2003-08-16 08:29 pm (UTC)On #5: There should definitely be an angel of British humour.
Regarding fic categories, I guess everything would go into the general category except 'Apples,' which would go in the slashy goodness section. I'd also suggest that you not include 'Detonate,' as its connexion to GO is tenuous at best. It'd be sort of out of place in a GO website. Feel free to take as long as you want, of course. :)
