minkhollow: (best of Queen fandom)

Really. I'm lucky if I did get to sleep before it was light out. Things I didn't try in pursuit include moving to the living room, waking Dad up, seeing if Mom left any Ambien here, and holding my breath till I passed out. I don't like not being able to sleep, and this is the worst case of that I can remember.
But since Dad already gave me things to do and would not be happy at all if I ignored them, I at least got the weed-whacker out and got some more bits of yard.
Anyway.

1. Why War? Exactly what appeals to you about her that she's your favorite horseperson (and maybe GO character)?
...’Cause she’s War. She’s dangerous and kinda scary at times and things from her perspective (well, from any of the horsepersons’ perspectives) are a challenge to write. On the crazier end of things, I swear she’s got some kind of deal with my already psychotic muse, which is why all the fanfic.

2. Do you ever feel left out, not having any messanger devices? If not, why not?
Nah. Sure, it takes me that much longer to get in contact with people. Sure, there’re things I can’t sign up for that I might’ve otherwise. But I figure if I ever set up an IM program I’ll spend far more time on the ‘puter than I do already. According to Mom, the current timespan is Too Much, so it saves headaches all around, I guess.

3. Out of your current fandoms, which one is most undeniably your favorite?
So far as fandom fandoms go, Good Omens. Relatively small but with lorry-loads of good fic, comparatively speaking. But when it comes to random posted-online stuff Heavenly Chaos takes the cake. Hyperactive angels! Sulking Brooding deities! What’s not to like?

4. If you had to get rid of most of your possessions and keep only one book, one movie, and two CDs, what would you choose to keep?
You are EVIL. EVIL, I say! ::dithers::
Book: Neverwhere, I’d think. I’ve memorized most of GO and would likely have lent out both copies under these circumstances, so that’s all right. And Neverwhere’s just a really really really cool book.
Movie: I’d say my Back to the Future box set except I’m doing this properly, so Bill and Ted. ‘S funny!
CDs: My most recent Feel-Good Stuff! mix, seeing as there’s a little bit of everything on, and. Um. Maybe You Should Drive (BNL, natch). That’s their best CD all around thus far.

5. Other than the obvious two, what's your dream car?
The obvious two being Bentley and DeLorean, then? Hmm...
Some really nice 1960s-era sports car, probably. I’d say I wanted it purple if not for the fact that red’s really the only color when it comes to these things.

Off to take care of a couple other things. Burst of coding likely when I get back.
