Am clearly going to have to reread this, if only so I get a chance to work out that complicated family-tree business. It's all kinda... wha? on the first reading. But I wanna get THROUGH this right now.
...I'm gonna regret that once I get to the Death, I'll bet. Still fervently hoping my guess is off-track. (And still not telling y'all the guess; you'll figure it out if I'm right, and I'll say what it was if I turn out to be wrong.)
Might be too caught up in reading to work on the story nugget, but now I've got the book I can probably manage work on the story proper.
