(I know most of the words to that song. And I only ever hear it on the radio.)
Bad news: my maths exam is NEXT WEEK. Good news: I don't have to go in the last day of exams and take it then. (Also, the teacher's father died over the weekend; sympathy, good karma, prayers, whatever you're inclined to send would be welcome, I'm sure.)
Bad news: I'm going to have to take health during the school year next year, as summer-school schedules simply do not mesh. (Why do you need a year of gym to get a semester's credit anyway?) Good news: I can go on the senior-retreat-thing in June after all, and still get to enough of the summer school to get credit. This is a Very Good Thing, and cause of Much Rejoicing throughout the land. ::yaaay::
We have to do a college-application-type essay for English, prolly to make sure we're capable of doing so. After thinking about it, I've decided my topic will most definitely incorporate Todd Rundgren. Here's why:
*There are numerous prompts re: something that inspires the writer.
*He was my first favorite musician, and despite being replaced by BNL in the top spot, he's still WAY up there.
*The man bloody well THINKS! (Miracle enough in some instances. XD)
*Music for everything. Homelessness, love, money, hope, the environment, failing relationships, sound words,^ wars, Vikings - you tell me this isn't a worthy cause.

^A favorite song of mine before I knew what onomatopoeia was, let alone how to spell it. And prolly the reason I can spell the word, come to that.

Oh, also. [livejournal.com profile] afrai is at it again. And it's FUNNY.
