*Have finished third Harry Potter book (prolly helped that I'd read it before... but nevermind that now). This is the first I've read it since hearing the proof statement for a certain shipperism (which [livejournal.com profile] maybethemoon has in her user info at least four times), and I must say I agree now. That "like a brother" thing is SO only there to keep it safe for the kids. So, those of you on the friendslist who follow that sort of thing, I need fic recs. /me is too lazy to wade through FF.Net's Potterfic archive for herself. 'Sides, you ought to know where some of it is anyway. XD
*Am working on a sequel/follow-up/something to that fic I was rambling about last night. (And that other people have been on about, but we're never gonna get anywhere if we get all detailed.*) There's only about a page of it right now, but still. Progress. And an official distraction from the War/Pestilence fic.

*Oh yeah - afrai, I showed Dad your uniform drawing when he asked if you had anything interesting to say. He liked 'em. (It was easier than reading the whole letter... who ever said you were boring?)

Oh, my obsessive ramblings on the topic and essay about why they are so obviously in love never made you think about it, but rereading the source after a good fic convered you to the pairing. =P

Anyway, a good place to look for fics is Azkaban's Lair (http://azkabanslair.slashcity.org/). Some is Hogwarts Era, some is post-Azkaban, and there are REALLY dark and angsty things written somewhere in the timeline between the two. There's also NC-17, so pay attention to the ratings if you don't read lemons. I'll look through later and dig up urls of my favorite fics for you.

Welllllll...

The Art of Subtext (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=148563) by DMP (http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=4827) -> hysterical fic about what happens when Remus gets brainwashed into thinking he's a dog. Hee. (And, well, to be honest, anything by DMP...but this is my favorite.)

Wake to Darkness (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=210605) by nortylaK (http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=38679) -> sweet, angsty, lovely S/R-ness. Very simple and beautiful.

Absolutely ANYTHING by Mieko Belle (http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=116676). For pure fun and mindlessness, read the Glitterfics. They're quite amusing. Nothing better than a Velvet Goldmine/Harry Potter crossover.

Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=767883) by Akira Ichijouji (http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=33475) -> amusing-ness behind measure. Is a blatant "everyone is gay" story, has terrific dialogue and a hilarious plot, and...yes. >.<

And, of course, what would be a fic recommendation list without being a plug!woman? Lots of stuff by me (http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=34162)!

And, of course, I can't believe I forgot the fics on The Happy Valley Puppy Farm (http://sekaiseifuku.net/puppyfarm.html), because not only are there sweet fluffy fics, but there are angsty nitty-gritty ones. And they rock. And yes, Azkaban's Lair as plugged above. :)

Ahem. I'm done pimping fics out to you now.

... Oh. ^^;;; Gomen!

Well, my explaination of the paring can be found here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/fujinsama/126502.html). ...I thought I wrote an essay lenght one. o.O;; I guess I was wrong. So, what part exactly finally convinced you?

And, yes. It would make much more sense to argue about a couple we don't both support.

Of course I know. They *are* my OTP, after all. ^_~ I'm just insanely curious about ship opinions. When God (aka my friend, Ai) was handing out divineity, I was selected as Devil-Goddess of Love for a reason, after all. *^^*

lol We most likely are, which is really just too bad. 'Mater throwing is fun. *sighs* They don't know what they're missing.

Reurn volley leter?
