IT IS YULE GOAT TIME.

Dear Yule Goat,

Thank you for offering to write for one of my fandoms! I can assure you I will absolutely love anything you write for me.

In general, I like a good comedy (or mystery, if you feel so led). I'm not really here for the porn, though I don't mind a good 'ship story - in fact, in a couple cases I'm hoping for a good 'ship story. I don't like non-/dubious consent, and I'd prefer to avoid graphic violence. I enjoy all of these fandoms for the characters as much as the concepts.

I feel like I should also note - and this will be incredibly obvious if you browse my AO3 page - I have no problems whatsoever with a well-spun crossover, even if it doesn't read as very plausible at first. So if you find yourself with a crossover plot bunny for something else I'm familiar with, GO FOR IT.

And now, some details:

Bernard and the Genie (1991)
Bernard Bottle, Josephus

Something lighthearted, gen or ship as you prefer. Can be a missing scene, fix-it, or The Excellent Adventures of Josephus in First-Century Palestine.

This is one of my deep and abiding childhood loves. I heart Bernard and Josephus to pieces, and I've always been intrigued by the thought of a Josephus-POV take on a New Testament story.

St. Trinian's (2007)
Beverly, Peaches

Back- or forwardstory for either or both of these ladies, please! AND MAYHEM. Gen, het or femslash, as you choose.

One of the things I love about this movie is that the Posh Totty aren't only pretty faces; seeing Peaches' hidden depths would be awesome. Also, Beverly is possibly my favorite character in the thing. She feels like a recent St. Trinian's alumna to me, but feel free to take another approach. (NB: I've only seen the 2007 movie; please don't spoil me for the '09 one, in the hopes I can eventually see it.)

Villains By Necessity - Eve Forward
Robin of Avensdale, Sam, Valeriana Ebonstar

Just what does Robin have to do to become a bard, anyway? Alternately, backstory for Valerie or Sam would be made of Win.

I love everything about this book, from the idea through to the execution (and even the terrible puns). I think it's very important to the story that the... protagonists are more than unfeeling bastards - even unrepentantly evil Valerie loved her family, when she had it. (As for the bard thing, I want details, just about as badly as Robin did.)

Warehouse 13
Claudia Donovan, Jack Seacourt, Rebecca St. Clair

This is my two-or-three-pronged request. Part one: Claudia being awesome (perhaps Caretaker-y?), with bonus points for a classic rock Artifact of some sort (and Claudia/Fargo, if you happen to know Eureka). Part two: ANY REBECCA/JACK EVER, whether it's fix-it or pre-Glass Girl case or WHATEVER I JUST WANT TO SEE THEM BEING AWESOME. My pie-in-the-sky wish: The AU where Rebecca and Jack are Claudia's foster parents while Joshua is in limbo.

What I dig about this show: The Artifacts, the character interactions, and clearly the doomed pairings. I adore Claudia to bits, and I think Rebecca and Jack deserve so much more time to be awesome than the year tops canon implies they got as a couple. If you go for Claudia's bonus points, I'm partial to the Who, the Beatles, Todd Rundgren, and Little Feat in particular (and Harry Nilsson, HOW COULD I FORGET NILSSON). Bonus points for Rebecca and Jack would be working Sugihara Chiune's blank visas in there somewhere because that dude was awesome.

If you want to Yulestalk me, feel free! My LJ is public (and I'm trying to get over some serious radio silence lately), as is my AO3 account (I've written at least one thing in each of these), and I occasionally wander into yulechat. Happy writing, good luck, and thank you once again!
