minkhollowI like the Yule Goat thing, so I think I'll run with that this year. (You gotta love a holiday mascot that's been run over by rockabilly fans in a classic car. XD)
And so, Dear Yule Goat:
No matter what you write me here, I will squee, I can guarantee you. Fic for me is always happymaking, especially if it's in a fandom on the rare side.
A few of my favorite things: I tend toward happier fic on the whole, though I don't mind a bittersweet element where canon calls for it. I don't mind smut if it's a natural progression of the story, but don't feel pressured; I enjoy a good gen fic just as much. I love characters snarking at each other, and I love a strong sense of the world the characters are in. If you feel like you can pull off a crossover or cameo-crossover with one of my other fandoms, I will probably squee the house down, but don't feel obligated to try.
A few of my not-favorite things: Excessive angst. Lack of consent, if sex does become a factor. Rampant gratuitous violence. Character death, unless you're elaborating on a canon incident.
What follows are my requests, and the stuff I love about the fandoms in particular.
Warehouse 13; Claudia, Mrs. Frederic
I'd love to see something in which Claudia gets to be awesome, with bonus points for an Artifact from the Titanic. Alternately, the worldbuilding in this 'verse fascinates me; I'd also love to see a story from a previous Warehouse, if you feel up to telling one. Mrs. Frederic's been around long enough that I have no doubt she'd know one of those.
The worldbuilding is what really sucked me into this show, as well as all the potential there is to be had in the Artifacts. Claudia is just plain awesome and made of Win, but if you don't feel like you can climb into her head, I'll take Warehouse backstory of just about any stripe.
This hasn't really been a creative-output fandom for me, so far, but I did manage one Harry Potter crossover. Part one is here, and part two is here.
Eve Forward - Villains By Necessity; Robin, Valerie
1) What the hell *does* it take for one to become a bard, and how does Robin go about doing so when there aren't many people who remember those steps? Or: 2) There are hints of Valerie's backstory, in the early scene that goes through the party's dream sequences. I'd love to see that elaborated on, or what she does after the quest. Gen or not-with-canon-characters romance, please.
THE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS BOOK, THEY ARE MANY. The strange moral compasses, the terrible puns, the potential stories in what came before the quest and what happens afterward... I could go on. The prompts I gave here are my outstanding questions, since the one about Blackmail was answered wonderfully last year. Robin is awesome in his way, and I want to see him succeed at the bard thing - just as soon as he figures out what it is. And Valerie may be unrepentantly evil, but there are many facets to that, and they deserve to be explored.
I've written some fic for this, though it's mostly about a character who gets about three paragraphs of canon total (and one of those is a dream sequence); that's here.
Sneakers; anyone (no, really, anyone)
I'd love to see some Epic College Hijinks of Marty, Cosmo and Liz, as no doubt they had many. Alternately, anything with the team being team-like or Cosmo being ever-so-slightly crazy, with bonus points for Whistler's POV. Or, hey, fill in how Liz spends the time between parts of canon! Really, though, I'm good with anyone you want to focus on. I'm a gen girl in this fandom, though for the college one, Marty/Liz and/or unrequited Cosmo/Liz would be pretty awesome.
I kind of adore everyone in this movie - the team dynamics, the careful planning, the fact that they occasionally drive each other up a wall, Liz getting dragged along for the ride despite herself, Cosmo... being crazy... you really can't lose. No matter what story you tell, I will love it. Carl, Whistler, and Cosmo are my favorites, but a focus on them would be icing on the cake; the cake is guaranteed to be awesome no matter what. As for Liz, I adore her, but I never feel I can do her justice, when I set about writing in this 'verse.

Bernard and the Genie; Bernard, Josephus
I'd love to see Josephus in his native environment, getting up to more hijinks with Jesus 'he did the wine at my brother's wedding!' of Nazareth. Or something where he manages to find his way back to England for more epic hijinks with Bernard. I'll take gen or more-emotional-than-physical Bernard/Josephus (because really, they're kind of adorable, in their way).
What I love most about this movie is Josephus. He's all kinds of cracktastic, and basically made of win. I can't help a little emotional 'shipping of him and Bernard; they're just awesome like that. XD And there's so much potential in his backstory for Epic Win. I'd really love to see some of that.
Sadly, this is the one fandom in my request set that I haven't written anything at all for.
If you're in need of a canon refresher/not sparking with the official match/wandering by in search of a challenge/generally looking for a new tiny fandom: Warehouse 13 is on Hulu, though I don't know how that works outside of the US; Villains By Necessity is out of print, but library-scouring may serve you well; Sneakers is out on DVD; and Netflix has Bernard and the Genie available as Watch Instantly.
